Things to do at Neil Island
Scuba Diving
The waters around Neil offers enormous opportunities for scuba diving with more than half-a-dozen dive sites. Our in-house scuba dive center Scubalov. provides service to newcomers and experienced divers. We provide both exploratory and certification courses for diving enthusiasts. Additionally, there is a conveniently located dive shop at SeaShell Neil, which is just a short 5-minute walk away.
Snorkeling
Neil Island features one of the most well preserved coral population in the isles making it famous among divers and snorkelers. Sitapur beach and Bharatpur beach are everyones favourites.<br/>Neil is also home to the very rare and elusive Dugong or Sea Cow which feeds on sea grass in shallow waters. Try your luck to spot this endangered mammal near sunset point.
Sightseeing
The 5 beaches or 5 villages in specific comprise this tiny yet beautiful island of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. These are Bharatpur, Sitapur, Neil Kendra, Lakshmanpur and Ram Nagar. Sitapur is considered the best of all these beaches. This island is known for its rustic remote feel, which is superbly contrasted with the current development being encouraged by the tourism here.<br/>The single Jetty at Bharatpur is the sole entry and exit point to this Island. It is worth a watch.
